In the grounds of Otley Primary School, in the midst of the Suffolk countryside, just north of Ipswich, is Otley Under Fives, a wonderful day care nursery that offers before and after school programmes. This brand-new location is airy, roomy, and filled with fun games, crafts, and toys for kids to play with.
We think it's crucial for the kids to have a variety of activities, so we divided the space so that each kid can pursue their own interests, whether they be learning through role-playing in the dressing-up corner, perusing books in the reading corner, or creating things with our wide selection of craft supplies. With cosy cushions, plush rugs, and low-level shelving, the area is also made to feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible, allowing the kids easy access to the wide variety of toys available.
All kids are strongly encouraged to use the outdoor amenities whether it's raining or shining because the main room also has access to the outdoor space! Along with a playhouse and mud kitchen, we have an organised selection of ride-on vehicles.
We are a small pre-school that takes pride in its welcoming, homey atmosphere and in knowing every child in our care extremely well so that we can cater to their unique interests and needs.
According to Ofsted, youngsters like the responsibility of helping the younger ones and play well with other kids. They are also courteous and considerate. Staff members take efforts to ensure that every child learns to make independent decisions. Parents claim that their kids enjoy going.
