From the Olive Tree Pre-School
Olive Tree Kindergarten For than 20 years, the facility formerly known as St. Peters Pre-school has offered the neighborhood's residents access to cost-effective, flexible, and high-quality daycare. In order to better serve the requirements of the pre-school and its students, the pre-school has recently moved to Southampton's Coxford neighbourhood. The new structure has enough of indoor and outdoor space to satisfy the needs of the attending children's development and offers them a conducive atmosphere for learning via play. Additionally, it benefits from kid-sized restrooms that kids can use for free, encouraging their independence. This move has also made it possible for the preschool to participate in the government plan to provide 30 hours of paid childcare for children ages 3 and 4 whose parents are employed. Seven highly qualified staff members are now employed by the facility. The manager and deputy manager have a great professional relationship and have been coworkers for more than ten years. The management team shares a variety of responsibilities, and this strong partnership benefits the team. Safeguarding and paediatric first aid are both taught to all staff members. The staff makes sure that the health and wellbeing of the kids attending the setting is a major focus by routinely reviewing and updating their knowledge in these areas. Olive Tree Pre-School is committed to helping the childcare workforce so that there are many qualified early childhood professionals in the field. The location frequently accepts students or volunteers for work-based learning opportunities and enjoys a great working connection with nearby universities and training facilities. Please note that all students and volunteers working in the setting are required to have a clean DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and must never be left alone with children.
