A nonprofit organisation connected to the Pre School Learning Alliance, Newton Solney Pre-School originally started operating in 1972. We are a registered charity that is run by a committee, funded by fees, and supported by fundraising efforts.
Additionally, we get support from Derbyshire County Council's Early Years programme. In Derbyshire, funding is available beginning in the term after the child's third birthday and is for 15 hours per week. Additionally, you are eligible for an additional 15 hours of extended entitlement. Visit the Children's Choices website to determine your eligibility. In Staffordshire, funding is accessible to kids from all throughout the county. For select kids, we can also seek for financing for 2 year olds.
The Newton Solney Infants School has a unit where our pre-school is located. This unit has a spacious teaching area, separate restrooms, and a cloakroom. We have a safe, secure play area that allows for a free flow system so we can utilise our outdoor space as much as possible all year long. We may also utilise the school's field, playground, and assembly hall.
Please speak to the management about our admissions and spots available. We can welcome children from 2 years and 6 months old till they enter the reception class.
