The baby room caters for children aged from 3 months old until they are confidently walking.
The room is airy and inviting, and like the rest of the nursery is based on natural spaces and calming tones, with the feel of being a home from home.
This room caters for children aged 2 years old until around 3 years of age (this is reviewed regularly to meet the needs of the individual children).
We offer 24U funded spaces within this room.
More information can be found on this on the childcare choices and whether this may be suitable for your family.
The room has a range of equipment and resources to support the childrens imaginative and pretend play.
Areas include a mark making area/literacy area, cosy story dome, construction and building area, small world, mathematics and technology area, and also a creative play table which includes a range of messy play and painting activities daily!.
This room also has free-flow access to outside, which provides an extension of the inside learning.
Rising Threes also support childrens physical development and has its own separate bathroom facility which can be easily accessed by the children and staff to further support nappy time and potty training in line with the parents' wishes.
Pre School caters for children aged 3 years up until school age (this is reviewed regularly to meet the needs of the individual children).
We also offer within this room a holiday club for school aged children up until the age of 11 years.
This is our largest of rooms and can provide care for up to 30 children.
It has an attached library room (cosy area), with its dual purpose being an additional area to encourage and support school readiness.
Also attached is a low-level bathroom, which children can access freely throughout the day with adult support.
The room holds age appropriate resources in each of its many areas.
These are: Mathematical area, home corner, small world, creative and early literacy areas.
The room is open plan and the children are regularly stimulated by fun and exciting activities that promote independence and challenge the children to become critical thinkers.
The children are regularly involved in decision making and staff within the room work inline with the EYFS to understand where the children are working developmentally.
Each child is planned for with high expectations for their individual needs.
Along with the rooms' individual outside areas, we are proud to also have our gardened areas which the staff take the children to use, either in small groups or as a whole.
We have a playground area at the back of the setting, with a woodland area where older children explore woodland session groups.
We also have grassed gardens to the front of the building, securely covered and gated away from the entrance.
These are ideal areas for picnics, exploring and climbing our pirate ship and wonderful additional growing areas for the children to help assist with further.
