Sence Valley Forest Park in Ibstock was founded in 2015 with a purpose-built log lodge in the middle of the National Forest.
Mini Explorers is located in 108 hectares of woods that we have sole access to for educational purposes.
Children can study in a special and excellent natural environment thanks to this.
For people of various ages and developmental stages, there are several amenities available.
Mini Explorers is a secure, comfortable, caring, and exciting environment where kids may play to foster their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
Our goal is for kids to acquire lifetime learning skills via play and our forest school philosophy, which emphasises resilience, tenacity, self-awareness, and drive.
Our holiday club offers a secure setting with the proper supervision for kids ages 2-5 and 5-11. It is encouraging, challenging, and enjoyable.
The holiday club provides a variety of entirely outdoor activities that adhere to the same principles as our Forest School methodology.
Spaces in our vacation club fill up quickly because of how well-liked it is.
Booking preference is given to Mini Explorers kids.
Since you are the only one who truly understands your child, the knowledge and candour you can give us will go a long way toward establishing a positive working relationship from the start.
Understanding your family's dynamics will help us complement your kid's existing knowledge. It will also help us get ready to engage with your child in a way that will inspire them to study.
You will get daily handovers from the staff outlining what your kid loved, what was available, and anything they encountered difficulty with.
Twice a year, we host parents evenings when you may meet with your child's key worker in person and review their academic progress.
We provide formal written reports home twice a year that may be shared with any other experts caring for your kid.
You are welcome to schedule a meeting with your child's key worker, team leader, or manager whenever you want; just let a member of the team know. We also meet with parents as needed.
We also offer Class DoJo, a private electronic app for each child that is available for free on your smart phone or tablet.
You may also post pictures and details about what you do at home since this helps us understand how your child's life is like when they are not with us and gives them bonus points.
