From the Mighty Oaks Little Acorns Ltd
We acknowledge that parents play a crucial role as their children's first teachers and their dedication to their young children's early education since we believe that education begins at birth.
We wish to provide an environment that is warm, welcoming, and joyful and that represents the needs of the neighbourhood. We want to be adaptable and responsive to the needs of all local children and their extended families.
We want to be a strong advocate for children and families, encourage children to have a voice, involve parents in their children' learning, be a place for community development and community learning and enable children to maximise their health, well-being and life opportunities.
We have created a location with a quiet, relaxed air in each of our settings, complete with spots where kids can hide out and feel cosy.
There is calmness and relaxation inside.
Children have a strong sense of vitality, and their heads and chests are held high and not slouched.
Then, kids have self-assurance in themselves and their skills.
Utilize draperies, voiles, and blankets to create dens or cosy corners.
Give them a spot to hide out away from the hubbub of the main activity in the space, giving them privacy to converse, chat, and interact.
Ensure that there are plush pillows and blankets so that kids may curl up with a book or a game.
Gwyneth Keen has an MA in Professional Development in Early Years, an MSc in Psychology, a postgraduate certificate in education, and a BA (Hons) 2:1 in Childhood and Youth Studies.
