At Mighty Oaks Day Nursery & Preschool, we combine the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with the teaching philosophy of Forest School. We regularly take the kids on walks through the forest so they may experience nature. They can gather whatever objects they come across and bring them inside to study further, learn more about them, or use them for crafts.
We regularly take the kids on hikes in the forests and outside on our 65 acres of property because our school embraces the spirit of Forest School teaching. We play a variety of imaginative and creative activities as well as physical ones like balancing on logs, puddle jumping, and climbing up hills (and tiny trees for the larger kids).
Since he was nine months old, my son has considered Mighty Oaks his second home! It's a place where he felt completely at ease. We appreciate all that you have done over the years to make our son feel loved and cared for. You have witnessed every significant development, such as the ability to walk and talk. He has been sculpted into the self-assured youngster he is today, prepared for his school adventures, by each person who has taken care of him.
