Meppershall Pre-school strives to offer a secure, loving, and welcoming atmosphere where kids can grow to their full potential. Praise and encouragement help to strengthen self-esteem and confidence.
Children get more independent and dependable as they go through pre-school. But most importantly, preschool should always be enjoyable. Children should like all the activities offered, learn to share and interact with classmates, and have a nice time without being under constant pressure to perform.
Since it first opened its doors in 1972, Meppershall Pre-school has been accredited by Ofsted since October 1992. The pre-school prepares children under five for further education out of the Village Hall in the heart of Meppershall, Bedfordshire. There are no steps on the property, and the doors are wide. Children can also use the enclosed outside play area that is attached to the house. In a warm and inviting environment, the kids are encouraged to learn through play.
Preschools have seen significant change recently. We now consider ourselves to be parents' initial point of contact with the school system. So, we take our responsibility seriously. In addition to the highly valued parental support provided during sessions, with fundraising, and through participation in the Pre-school Committee, we have a team of very experienced staff who have access to support and the most recent advancements in childcare through our membership in the Pre-school Learning Alliance. However, the welfare of our children and their families will always be our top priority.
