Rose and Melanie founded the first Melrose nursery in September 2008, and they set the bar for excellent instruction and care within their nursery.
Rose and Melanie are committed to fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where each visitor to the nursery feels appreciated and a part of the community. The Melrose standard is upheld by developing close bonds with each family that enrols in the programme and by confirming that each practitioner joining a Melrose team is enthusiastic about providing high-quality childcare.
The philosophy of Melrose nurseries is to give children a stimulating atmosphere that supports their growth. The nurseries are well-stocked with top-notch educational materials that challenge and stimulate the kids. Each session includes a variety of thrilling, difficult adult-led activities designed to supplement the Early Years curriculum. Every kid is encouraged to take part in the activities, and each activity is catered to the needs and developmental stage of the specific child.
Rose Lee and Melanie Johnson both began working in the field of childcare in 1993, earning their National Nursery Examination Board (NNEB) certifications along the way. They have extended their education in order to earn a degree in early childhood education while also finishing their usual ongoing training.
They each spent 17 years working in various childcare positions before deciding to start their own facility. In September 2008, Melrose Nursery School began operations. After this venture was a success, Melrose on the Hill and Melrose Tokyngton were launched in September 2012 and September 2013, respectively.
