Our ethos and principles at Mayfield House Kindergarten centre on the concept of childhood as a priceless, enchanted, and stress-free period of development.

The staff truly cares about the children entrusted to their care and is deeply aware of the enormous duty we all bear in ensuring the kids' safety.
It is emphasised to kids that they should take an active role in their own well-being and value it.
Children consume wholesome foods, get enough sleep, and engage in a lot of physical activity, particularly outdoor sports in the open air.
Children are encouraged to enjoy being physically active and to understand the benefits for their health and well-being, starting with baby massage and baby yoga and continuing with yoga, dance, private swimming lessons, gardening, growing food at our allotment, and trips to the forest school at Elfin Wood.
We enjoy eating well and want to instil this love of food in our children. Eating well is both enjoyable and necessary for leading an active, healthy life.
