To ensure the safety of our crew and all of our kids, kindly abide by this guideline.
MASKK is a burgeoning neighbourhood charity that was founded in 1999 by neighbours and offers a variety of activities for kids and families in Sheffield's Manor and Castle neighbourhood.
Our offerings include kid's clubs, family activities, accessible vacations for kids with disabilities, events, and volunteer opportunities.
Working with the MASKK team in the neighbourhood is always such a joy, and everyone involved gives their all into what they do.
The fact that MASKK, a reputable organisation with a long history, can continue to provide essential services to the deserving citizens of Manor Castle Ward is something Sioned and I are certain to appreciate.
A public meeting was conducted in July 1999 at the Manor Community Shop to determine whether there was a need for an after-school programme in the Manor neighbourhood in light of the success of neighbourhood initiatives assisting residents in finding employment and training.
The club began operating in the Standhouse centre in September 2000 after receiving input from the community and suggestions from Sheffield Out of School Network. It remained there until the project relocated to the Manor Community Childcare Center in 2001.
We collaborated with Manor Church & Community Project to help them design and renovate the structure into what is currently known as Temple Park Centre.
MASKK has evolved and altered over the years to become what it is now.
On August 27, 2009, we applied to become a registered charity, and we've since been doing a lot more initiatives.
