An organisation called Manchester Settlement has its roots in Manchester's urban neighbourhoods.
For more than 120 years, the organisation has operated in various forms and has provided a wide range of services to address the evolving needs of people, families, and communities.
We are dedicated to leveraging our knowledge and resources to build cycles of community change since the people and families in Manchester and the surrounding areas constantly encounter new difficulties.

As a charity, we must do everything in our power to ensure our long-term viability, which expressly acknowledges the need for financial stability so that we can keep making investments in the creation of high-quality services.
Manchester Settlement interprets our purpose, vision, and values through a methodology that applies throughout all of our service areas, even if each of our present and future service areas and approaches will have a unique methodology required to meet its unique requirements.

The cycle's strengths section demonstrates how we constantly seek to improve our relationship with the community member by working to assist them recognise their strengths and support them in finding ways to expand on them.
The cycle's Activity portion demonstrates our desire for the people we are working with to become active鈥攊n whatever way, be it physical, creative, cultural, or anything else.
If this activity is done in a group environment, we think that the relationships and networks within the community are starting to solidify and that this will increase resilience.
