The North Newton Village Hall houses the Pre-School, which was founded in 1977 and is located next to the North Newton Community Primary School.
By treating each child as an individual and providing them with the chance to grow in independence, confidence, and self-esteem in a safe, secure, and engaging environment, we want to improve the development and education of children who are not yet of compulsory school age.
At Little Steps, play-based learning is the core focus.
We strive to provide inclusive care for everyone and offer all children adequate learning opportunities.
To provide diversity and depth to the children's learning, we adopt new themes every half term. We also participate in neighbourhood events like church festivals and school events, as well as plan our own vacations.
We routinely visit North Newton Community Primary School to utilise their playground, share resources, and participate in activities like hosting a theatre company or visiting artists since we have a great working relationship with the institution.
We try to offer toys and activities that stimulate every aspect of a child's growth throughout each session.
All of these provide kids the chance to freely communicate with adults and each other while also developing their language skills.
We support the children's development within the Early Years Foundation Stage by offering a variety of activities and tools (EYFS).
Above all, we want your child to be content and have the chance to further his or her education.
A maximum of 24 youngsters can be accommodated each session.
Children can enrol in Little Steps Pre-School as early as age 2, and beginning in the term after their third birthday, they are eligible for Nursery Education Funding.
