With the children in our setting in mind, we have positioned, resourced, and situated our rooms.
With the curiosity approach it forces you to think about the WHY of things you do this in turn has helped us create a beautiful home from home environment, that encourages children to be independent, feel confident, safe and secure in their time with us.
Our infant room (3 months to 24 months) was designed with your children's growth in mind, so our room leaders make sure that it isn't too busy or overly exciting but has the proper amount to support the development of your baby's neurological connections.
It is a cosy, welcoming environment for your babies to develop.
The elder children (ages 2 to 5) use two separate rooms, each of which has a home room, sensory corners, and a construction room with a variety of features and places.
We use a free-flow system which means that the children can choose which room they would like to go in we use walkie talkies to communicate within the setting so that we know where the children are always.
It's amazing to witness how the kids engage with one another during role play because you can see how they bring their unique personalities to the scenarios and develop lovely friendships with the other kids.
It encourages their imagination, and it is a gift for us as a team to be able to observe, support, and participate in your children's growth and development.
There are peaceful corners, messy play areas, and many of opportunities for enjoyment in the construction room.
We use real life objects, including tools, much as in the home room.
The kids assist us in setting up the rooms and activities.
The children's sensory rooms that we have designed for them foster a state of serenity and introspection.
It gives the children in the setting a chance to take a moment to self-regulate their emotions, compose themselves and their behaviours and this in turn helps them to focus on other areas of their learning through play.
They are completely enamoured with our sensory bubble popping device and fidget spinners.
When you see them playing with the toys, you can see how completely absorbed they are in it and how focused they are.
