Local pre-school Little Spinnakers serves the Milton neighbourhood in Southsea and Portsmouth. The United Reformed Church Hall is where we are. Children as young as two are welcome at Little Spinnakers, which offers a kind, loving, and enjoyable environment with a focus on supporting your child as they take their first steps toward school. The Pre-School has an Ofsted registration (unique reference number EY415088), and our most recent inspection (on March 29, 2019) gave it a Good rating. Little Spinnakers is operated as a nonprofit organisation (Charity ID: 1028045), and its Management Committee is made up of volunteers. Parents and other family members of Pre-School students make up the majority of the Committee. Please contact Alison Carpenter, the pre-school manager, if you want to join the committee. The children can engage in a variety of vivid, exciting activities in the Coral Room, which is a great, comfortable space for them. Coral Room also features a cosy reading nook and an amazing outdoor area with a mud kitchen. A fantastic, supportive environment for your child to begin their educational journey. Children learn while having fun in the wide, open Ocean Room, which is entertaining, energetic, and exciting. We provide open access to our outside space, where kids love to use the climbing frame, bikes, scooters, and a variety of other activities. Children can experience digging, planting, and growing fruits, vegetables, and plants in the Ocean Room's mini-allotment.
