From the Little Shrimps Day Nursery
Four spacious rooms, two on the first floor and two on the ground floor, make up the Little Shrimps nursery in Morecambe.
Each area has ramped access and is configured to accommodate a variety of activities.
There is plenty of room for kids to wander about and play in this light and spacious setting.
The large picture window lets the babies watch the larger kids playing in the garden outside all the time.
The 3-5 year olds occupy the entire first floor.
There are two activity rooms each well resourced with a different wide range of equipment to support all areas of the early years foundation including role-play, writing, small world, large/small construction, books, computer, ICT, creative activities, model making, baking, water, sand and malleable play.
At any given time, the nursery can house up to 30 kids, 11 of whom may be infants.
The spaces serve as "base rooms."
These are used by the nursery workers to greet the kids at the beginning of a session.
Each member of the staff is at least level 3 qualified and has extensive knowledge and experience in early years provision.
There is always time for kids to play outside in the sunshine.
