We think it's crucial to instil a sense of familiarity in the nursery and pre-school children by establishing a schedule that encourages them and gives them the stability they need to meet their requirements. We encourage children to explore discoveries and connections via play as part of our everyday activities. We at Little Owls refer to this love of creativity as active learning. Through this philosophy, we provide an early years curriculum that is based on moment-to-moment planning, observing the children and their interests, and challenging and extending their next steps through high-quality interactions between practitioner and children. Active learning strongly supports the Early Years Foundation Stage. At Little Owls, we're always assessing the learning environments to make sure we're offering an excellent atmosphere that inspires all kids to be active, inquisitive, and to create a sense of wonder that will nurture their learning. To uphold high levels of care and education, we are able to engage and challenge the children's thinking through the practitioners' interactions with them and their surroundings by using strategies like watch, look, listen, and note. To ease the transition into the Pre School, the Nursery follows the same schedule as the Pre School. In order to make the Pre School routine age-appropriate for the children before they leave us and begin school life, Little Owls recognises the need of providing routines that are appropriate for each age group.
