Every school holiday (apart from Christmas), we operate a holiday club that is located in the school dining hall at Woodfield Infant School, Woodfield Avenue, Penn, Wolverhampton WV4 4A. You enter the club through the rear door (car park of the school along Coalway Road).
As you might expect, in order to make sure it was safe to open, we had to consult with the government, Early Years, and Woodfield Primary School.
Therefore, we had to put safety measures in place to safeguard the safety of all of the employees, kids, and parents that come to the club.
The changes listed below are significant and must be brought to your attention as parents.
We will be providing hand sanitizing gel to all children and staff who will be encouraged to use these at several times during the day.
To protect the safety of the children attending, activities will be conducted with smaller groups of youngsters, and more personnel will be selected.
The club's surfaces, equipment, and overall cleanliness shall be upheld all day.
I am aware that some parents like making cash payments.
If paying with cash is the best option, make sure to put all of it in an envelope and present it to management.
Parents are asked NOT to enter the club environment inside, which is another modification designed to safeguard the safety of the staff, kids, and parents.
Children will be presented to parents at the club door once a parent has talked to a staff member over the intercom system and specified which kid they are come to pick up at the end of the day.
Additionally, Little Munchkins will continue to provide the children who attend three meals every day.
