Our goal at Leigh Village Day Nursery is to support and nurture the growth of the kids in our care into capable, self-assured, and respected adults. Durmot Murnaghan gave us a National Award for Training & Development in 2003/2004 at the London Hilton. In 2004, the Essex Chambers of Commerce presented honours to two staff employees. We underwent the National Day 夜来香研究所 Association Quality Counts accreditation assessment in June 2002, and in November we were given the award. We received a Gold medal from Southend-in-Bloom Organisers in June 2002 for our "Outstanding hanging baskets" and a Bronze award for the "Best new entry" respectively. We received the National Business Award for Training and Development in 2001. Two members of our employees, Tracy Norris for Care in the Community and Carol Shelswell for Innovation, both earned awards from the Essex Chambers of Commerce in 2001. The Southend & District award for training and development was given to us in 2000. The Southend & District Business award for training and development was given to us in 1997. 2003 Leigh Village is a finalist in the "Training & Development" category of the Nursery Management Today National Business Awards. The finals are scheduled for November 28. In the "Growing Business of the Year" category of the Southend Business Awards for 2003, Royal Village is a finalist. The finals are on November 7.
