Located in a big building on Carlton Road, Learning Works for Children is a family-run daycare centre with three spacious rooms, a sizable physical play space, and a private outside garden.
After relocating from our old location at Learning Works for Women, our Nursery and Play Scheme has been operating since 2006. (previously Notts Womens Training Scheme, next to Victoria Centre.)
Our goal is continue to provide high quality child care in a secure and loving environment, ensuring that every child has the chance to grow, develop, and learn through play. We have a devoted team of qualified staff members, some of whom have worked together for 20 years.
We understand that different family structures reflect different sets of values and worldviews on how children develop.

We provide full-time spots at Learning Works for Children for kids aged 6 weeks to 5 years, as well as a holiday programme (Playscheme) for kids aged 5 to 11.
We see the nursery as a family and have an open door policy to encourage parents and kids to exchange ideas and participate in nursery activities.
We value parental engagement because it helps us provide your kid with the greatest care while also meeting their unique requirements.
By weekly planning based on their interests, observations, and talks with you, your child's key person will assist and encourage your kid as they develop new abilities at their own rate.
