We think that kids pick up knowledge by doing, observing, and experiencing the world around them. We take the kids out every day, barring particularly inclement weather. We attend neighbourhood playgroups, participate in programmes at children's centres, and frequently visit farms, museums, art galleries, and exhibitions.
We go to gym-tots, sing along with groups, and local nursing homes. We have taken day trips on the boat to see Walton Hall & Gardens in Warrington, the animals at Chester Zoo, and Spaceport in Wallasey. We go on beach days and have picnics in the park during the summer.
By collecting money for charity and having the kids come to the bank to help deposit it, for instance, we allowed the kids to learn about and experience daily life. We take them to the neighbourhood store in Aigburth to get supplies for baking or a picnic. They also select plants for our nursery garden at the neighbourhood garden centre.
We offer buggies and strollers for babies as well as buggy boards for older kids. Our buggies are routinely inspected to make sure they are in good condition.
We routinely travel to many exciting locations in our nine-seater minibus.
