They discussed creating an adventure company for hours back in the year 2009, when David's hair was barely grey and Owen's beard was still young. One day, their former girlfriends鈥攏ow their wives鈥攖old them to stop blustering and DO it instead. Thus, they acted. In Owen's living room, Land & Wave was founded with a hard drive holding 600 each and a handful of laptops. Four directors, one partner, and eight managers are responsible for the company's current success. You can help people have incredible adventures in the great outdoors by assembling a team of about 35 exceptional seasonal instructors. To discover out what we were doing in a certain year, tap on it. We are a close-knit group of family and friends who enjoy collaborating and coming up with incredible adventures for everyone. Every action we take has a human element at its core. Every year, we add about 35 vivacious beauty to our full-time crew to help us get through the spring, summer, and fall. Without a doubt, the top instructors in the industry are our amazing seasonal educators. Our headquarters are in Swanage, which is ideally situated on the Dorset coast and is a fantastic area to live, work, and play. We have fantastic pop-up bases for Challenge Weeks and Outdoor Instructor Training in Devon, South Wales, and Snowdonia. Being avid outdoor enthusiasts, we get to spend virtually every day exploring, swimming, hiking, or playing on sea cliffs.
