Philosophy: The manager has clear aims for the pre-school and a strong ethos for the children to learn through play.
Activities: Staff listen and interact well with the children, supporting their vocabulary as they sing songs and talk with them.
Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children's behaviour is very good and they use their manners well. They play cooperatively with each other and have a positive attitude towards learning.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: The new manager and staff team work very well together and have worked extremely hard to turn the pre-school around.

Happiness and Settling: Children are happy and confident as they arrive at the pre-school. They know the routine well and settle to play with their friends with confidence.
Nutritional Menu: Children have healthy snacks and milk at snack time. They follow good hygiene routines. Staff encourage parents to provide healthy lunch boxes.

From the Lady Bay Pre-School
Over 50 years ago, a group of parents met together frequently to chat and drink coffee while their kids played.
Lady Bay Playgroup, as it was then known, relocated to the church hall on Pierrepont Road, moving from the front hall to the back as lottery funding enabled the halls complex to be expanded.
The Breckles Hall at All Hallows Church Halls on Pierrepont Road is now home to Lady Bay Pre-school.
We are a community-based preschool that is dedicated to teaching children through play.
Every member of our team is a local resident, and the most of them used to be parents of students.
Since most of our children continue their education at Lady Bay Primary School, we have strong ties to that institution.
Our employees enjoy what they do!
The majority of their kids attended the pre-school, and they are all parents themselves.
Our committee, which is made up of present and previous parents as well as other members of the Lady Bay community, oversees Lady Bay Pre-school, a registered charity.
It is not difficult to serve on a committee, and we only ask that you volunteer the time you are able to.
Please talk to a staff member if you are interested in joining the committee.
Cash, checks, bank transfers, daycare vouchers, and the tax-free childcare programme are all acceptable forms of payment.
From the term after their third birthday, all children are eligible for up to 15 hours of free childcare per week during the school year; some children may be eligible for up to 30 hours of free childcare per week provided their parents meet specific requirements.
