For kids 0 to 5 years old, full-time and part-time daycare options are available. Our hours are 7:45 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed on holidays and for two weeks over Christmas. Our goal is to give our kids a variety of engaging learning opportunities in a relaxed, secure, and safe setting. By exchanging knowledge, participating in our committee, and participating in decision-making, children and their parents may affect learning. Through this democratic process, we encourage our core British Values鈥攖he rule of law, individual liberty, respect for one another and tolerance of people of other religions and beliefs鈥攕o that children can actively engage in and make a constructive contribution to life in contemporary Britain. Every parent or caretaker has the opportunity to serve on the voluntary committee that oversees Kiveton & Wales Nursery. The committee is made up of parents, employees, and other volunteers. There are termly committee meetings and an annual general meeting at the conclusion of the year. Each committee member is required to complete an Ofsted (EY2) form and a DBS check. We are listed with Ofsted as well as a registered charity (1036760). (EY536331). We were first known as Kiveton and Wales Pre-School Daycare, which was founded in 1966, before becoming Kiveton & Wales Nursery. We will sing "Happy Birthday," give out cards, and assist your child in blowing out the candles on their cake if you send one along with your child. We'll slice it up for you and deliver it with our kids.
