Established in 1987, Kilnsea Pre-School is situated at Maiden Place's Community Center.
We have access to a sizable, air-conditioned hall with children's restrooms, a kitchen, and office space; the structure is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled restroom. Additionally, the preschool has access to a gated grassed outside space with a sizable paved patio and covered sand pit.
Our pre-school is community-run, has charitable status, and is controlled by the Early Years Alliance charter. We are run by a committee made up of parents, caregivers, and other pre-school-related individuals.
Preschool has a maximum of 33 students, with a worker to student ratio of 1:6. (1:4 for 2 year olds). One parent or caregiver volunteer helper is also invited to each session. The Disclosure and Barring Service has given enhanced disclosures to every member of our committee and staff (DBS).
Children can enrol in Kilnsea Pre-School beginning in the term following their second birthday. As early as 18 months old, you can add your child to the waiting list. When registering, a 20 non-refundable administration charge must be paid. Our current hourly rates are 7.25 for unfunded children and financed 2-year-olds who exceed their 15 funded hours, and 7.00 for funded 3- and 4-year-olds who exceed their funded hours.
We are an Early Years service registered with Wokingham Borough Council, a part of the Early Years Alliance, and subject to Ofsted inspections.
