Jumblies Day Nursery opened its doors in October 2006 and is located on Jubilee Wharf in Penryn. From 6 weeks to 5 years old, we offer full-day care. Up to six toddlers under the age of two can be cared for in our baby and toddler room, and up to 26 toddlers to five-year-olds can be accommodated in our preschool area.
From Monday through Friday, we're open from 8 in the morning until 6 at night.
Six children under the age of two can stay in our infant and toddler room. Please check this page for more information on how our highly qualified nursery assistant and our very experienced infant room leader look for the kids in these rooms.
Up to 26 children can fit in our preschool room. This space can accommodate up to 6 certified and experienced staff members. The kids are free to use our outside space, which has lovely views of the river, for the most of the day.
To establish the standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth to five, we operate within the statutory framework of regulations for the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE. Our entire staff has regular access to training. During our most recent Ofsted inspection, which took place in March 2016, Jumblies received an Outstanding rating across the board.
The Zed Shed is used by the students and faculty twice a week for dance, games, and exercise exercises.
