From the term after their third birthday, every child is entitled to a free nursery space, financed by Bradford MDC, for up to 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, or 570 hours spread out across the year.
The Nursery Education Funding only contributes to daycare expenses.
Three rooms are available at Jolly Tots: Treasures, Gems, and Jewels.
Since it first opened in September 2008, our baby room has flourished.
Our Jolly Tots babies not only master important milestones like crawling and walking with the assistance of our trained staff, but they also take part in a wide range of activities including sand play, sensory exploration, heuristic play, painting, and water play.
We are widely known in the community because we frequently take the babies on walks while utilising different pushchairs (from quads to singles).
Whether the children are 18 months old or three years old, the team is competent at meeting their requirements and can modify the activities to suit each child.
Inquisitiveness comes naturally to the kids in our Gems room, and having the freedom to explore while having a supportive adult nearby when required allows the Gems to blossom, learn, and develop at an amazing rate.
All of the staff at Gems has perfected the art of striking the right balance between caring for the young children who need adult assistance and offering opportunities to support and encourage the older children to learn how to become a little more independent.
On the list of Gems' interests are various messy and creative activities, as well as music, dancing, and movement.
We aid the kids in getting ready for going to school in our preschool area.
We accomplish this, like we do in each of our nursery rooms, by including carefully selected, enjoyable, and stimulating activities that challenge, inspire, and engage our Jewels.
We can prepare for the children's interests because of the variety of activities offered.
In Jewels, role playing, outdoor play, artistic pursuits, ICT lessons involving computers, and construction are the most popular activities.
Children do learn best through play, and this philosophy permeates every aspect of the nursery, from the beginning in the Treasures room to the finish when the kids leave the Jewels room to go to school.
