Horn's Mill Primary School places a high premium on keeping kids safe. Our curriculum promotes the children's safety in addition to a welcoming, dependable, and kid-centered school culture. In addition to a well-thought-out PSHE curriculum, we offer a variety of experiences to deepen and reinforce the kids' knowledge of personal safety. These include presentations and activities on the subjects of stranger danger, acceptable behaviour and conduct in the classroom, anti-bullying, Childline, NSPCC, road safety, building site safety, online safety, bonfire and Halloween safety, and online safety. Let's Walk is a training programme for young pedestrians that attempts to develop children's knowledge and comprehension via hands-on instruction and experience in order to get them ready to be independent road users. Let's Bike is a level one national Bikeability training programme for off-road cycling. It is conducted in the school's playground by volunteers from the school who have received complete training and assistance from the Road Safety Team.
