From the Hillside Pre - School (Chorleywood) Ltd
In the centre of Chorleywood, there is a communal pre-school called Hillside Pre-School. Our founder Pat Sullivan founded us in 1979.
Pat pictured a preschool where parents played a major role in its management. Together with Pat serving as the pre-school manager, she established a parent-led committee to oversee the pre-school and assure its smooth functioning.
Today's parent-led Committee structure is still in place, and it works closely with Ruby, our pre-school manager, and the group of incredibly skilled staff members. In addition to being a nonprofit, the committee and staff are free to concentrate solely on offering top-notch childcare without worrying about turning a profit.
For families with preschoolers ages 2-4, we offer a loving, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment.
Our knowledgeable staff, with more than 80 years of combined experience, is well renowned for creating children who are self-assured and gregarious in preparation for starting school. We serve as a feeder preschool for the primary schools in our community, and the friendships our kids develop while attending Hillside help them transition to primary school and beyond.
