At Aktiva nurseries, we work hard to provide a warm, welcoming environment where our kids may feel comfortable and learn new things. We opened our first nursery in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, in November 2015, and we purchased a second one in Ealing in June 2018. We are excited to announce the opening of our new nursery and community centre in the brand-new village of Kingsbrook Broughton, which is just outside of Aylesbury's downtown. Our youngest kids, up to age 2, reside in the Discoverers room. They learn that there are a lot of opportunities in the world when they are in this room. They start to learn how powerful communication is, what their bodies are capable of, and how to use their senses. As they develop, our Discoverers move into the Explorers/Inventors chamber. They like learning from experiences, experimenting with new things, exploring their surroundings, and enhancing their senses. The youngsters are growing in their awareness of other people, but they are inherently egocentric, believing that even though things have been done before them, they invented any new experiences. Our kids move from the Explorers/Inventors area to the Professors room when they become 3 years old. Our professors are becoming experts in their fields. They use communication and their breadth of experiences to feed their imagination. They continue their educational adventure by using their newly discovered independence.
