Hey Days Nursery is situated on the grounds of Holmfirth High School in the small rural town of Holmfirth. For 58 kids, the nursery is registered. There are 18 kids, the youngest being 2 years old. Since October 1992, the nursery has existed in its current configuration. 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Except for holidays and the time between Christmas and New Year's, the nursery is open every day of the year. Hey Days has evolved over time into a flourishing, well-respected private day nursery, which Ofsted has recognised as an outstanding environment (Ofsted report is available on website). We provide full-time and part-time care and education for children ages 0 to 5, including FEECs who are 2 and 3 years old (Free Early Education and Care). Hey Days strives to always offer a high level of attention. Every child receives our support and encouragement as they grow more independent and self-assured. Children learn and grow while collaborating with the EYFS, and are ultimately prepared and ready to join school. We have a group of knowledgeable and skilled nursery professionals (holding N.N.E.B, NVQLevel3 & 4, Level 5 in Leadership and BA Honours in Childhood Studies). We offer a welcoming, nurturing, and exciting environment that motivates the kids to study and grow. Our staff team is our most important teaching resource since they all deliver top-notch care and instruction. Our attitude is to always assure a high standard of care, to keep an amazing nursery, and to enable kids to learn and grow in a secure, engaging environment. The practitioners' and the environment's overall professional development is something we constantly strive to advance. In earlier Quality Counts assessments conducted by the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA), we earned Levels 1 and 2, and we are currently striving towards Level 3.
