The safe, loving, and engaging environment provided by Happy Jays Nursery in Batley enables kids to learn happily during their earliest formative years.
Based on your children's current interests and developmental stage, we plan activities and chances for them to explore at Happy Jays Nursery in Batley.
In order for each child to advance through the seven Early Years Foundation Stage areas, we employ next steps for each individual child (EYFS).
We do provide two complimentary settling-in sessions.
Every child in the Nursery has an assigned Key Person, who is in charge of making sure your kid is content, engaged, has access to engaging activities, encourages them to use their imaginations, and offers cuddles and quiet time as needed.
We don't force kids to do anything; instead, we think it's our job to show them things they'll want to do and that align with their present interests.
We are a fully inclusive setting with a Special Education Needs Lead who is properly qualified.
To set up training and support for the kids in our care, we can collaborate with neighbourhood authorities and other nonprofits.
All employees have received training in how to support youngsters with autism.
Every 6 to 8 weeks, each staff member participates in a supervision where we discuss the growth of their Key Children and make sure that all learning opportunities are in place.
We provide each member of our team with several possibilities for training.
We are paying for numerous Group employees' degree programmes.
Additionally, the nursery has a mental health first aider who may assist our staff and parents if necessary.
We do provide two complimentary settling-in sessions.
We do advise taking these as soon after your child's start date with us as possible, and on the days that they will be attending.
This enables them to establish friendships with the kids they will be spending time with right away.
We will invite you to stay with us for Session One, which typically lasts an hour to an hour and a half.
We will spend time with you during this period learning as much as we can about your child.
We will make every effort to make your child feel comfortable and secure and for younger children we will ask you to provide family photos that will either be included in your family book that your child can access or on the walls at a lower level so that your child can see them.
We will enquire about your child's routine in the Baby Rooms, including feeding and sleep schedules as well as bedding preferences.
If you are comfortable doing so, we do ask that you leave your child in our care for Session Two, which typically lasts two to two and a half hours.
You are more than welcome to stop by the office for coffee or to leave and come back after the settling in session.
This is valid for the duration of your child's time in nursery, and we are always willing to speak with you.
If you feel that your child is then ready to start their booked sessions then we can commence them the following week or if you feel that your child would benefit from some more settling in sessions then we are happy to offer these.
For both you and your child, we want to make the transition to nursery as simple as possible.
We are aware of how difficult it is to leave your child.
As much as the kids in our care, we are here to help you.
