Families with children 0 to 19 years old (or up to 25 years old with a special educational need or disability), young people, and professionals can get free, unbiased information from Sandwell Family Information Service. We serve as Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council's primary informational resource for parents and caregivers.
We are in favour of Sandwell Council's Ambition 4 of Vision 2030, "Best Start in Life." As an early intervention service, we provide families with information about childcare and community assistance programmes. The Family Services Directory provides information on children's centres, financial aid, health and wellbeing, education, and local events and activities. The Children and Young Adults with Disabilities/Special Educational Needs Register is another thing we oversee and maintain.
