From the Gunness and Burringham Pre-School
Gunness & Burringham Pre-School is required to adhere to a framework of learning, development, and care for children from birth to five years old, much like all childcare facilities registered with Ofsted.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is what it is called, and it gives your kid the opportunity to learn via a variety of activities and get ready for success with the primary school curriculum.
the educational programmes and the seven domains of learning and growth.
The early learning objectives are a list of the information, abilities, and comprehension that all young children need to have by the conclusion of the reception year.
Each child in the care of Gunness & Burringham Pre-School will have their unique needs, interests, and developmental stage taken into account. Using this knowledge, the pre-school will plan a stimulating and pleasurable experience for each child in all of the learning and development areas.
The three main sections highlight the essential abilities and skills that all kids need to successfully grow, learn, and prepare for school.
As children gain competence in the three primary areas, it is anticipated that the emphasis will change toward a more equal emphasis on each area of learning.
In the early years, if a child's development in any key area raises questions, we will talk to the child's parents and/or caregivers about it and decide how to help the kid.
Each child at G&B Pre-School will have their own Key Person, who will help to guarantee that the child's education and care are individualised to fit their unique requirements, in order to promote successful teaching and learning.
The key person will organise and direct the kids' activities and consider various teaching methods.
Visit the Department of Education for more information about the Early Years Foundation Stage.
