At 8.55 a.m., the school bell rings, and you can assist your child in lining up with the rest of their class.
We sincerely hope that you will help us by saying goodbye to your kid in the playground when he or she transitions to Years 1 and 2. You should also give your child the freedom to organise themselves at this time.
Please give your kid the freedom to enter the school gate and playground by themselves when they enter our junior school (Year 3 and higher), where they will be welcomed by a member of our school staff.
A member of staff will be there to greet them.
Please wait for your child in the playground.
This is for your childs safety and to encourage good manners.
All parents are welcome to the Friday celebration assembly, which begins at 9.05 a.m.
This weekly event gives us a chance to recognise the kids for their accomplishments, diligence, and excellent behaviour that week.
The day before the Celebration Assembly in which your child will receive an award, we will send a note home in their book bag asking you to consider attending.
Every day at 10.30 am, the students take a 15-minute break to play with their classmates in the main playground or on the grassy rear playground, depending on the weather.
A buddy from our Year 2 class will be assigned to each child in the EYFS Reception class when they begin.
When we visit the church for our services, the bigger kids will continue to serve as your child's buddy and are strongly urged to take their buddy responsibilities very seriously.
Please inform us of any allergies on your childs medical information form, an accompanying doctors letter will also be required.
The children are supervised throughout lunch and they are gently encouraged to eat their lunch. If your child appears to be having any difficulty with their food at midday we will let you know.
Please give as much notice as possible, and at least one week, if you intend to change from school dinners to pack lunch or vice versa.
Whatever money sent to school for any purpose should be placed in a labelled envelope and delivered to the school office, never in your child's book bag.
The children may bring water in a named container although they do have access to the water fountain throughout the school day and are encouraged to keep hydrated.
1/3 pint cartons of milk can be purchased through the Cool Milk scheme at https://www.coolmilk.com/parents and this is drunk mid morning at snack time.
Milk is available free of charge up until your childs 5th birthday.
If your child does not enjoy drinking milk at home, kindly refrain from ordering milk.
Children in the EYFS AND KS1 receive fruit or vegetables as well at snack time, therefore they shouldn't bring any snacks from home.
