From the Glenhurst Nursery & Pre-School
Glenhurst cares for children from 3 months old to school age, from 7:30am to 6:00pm, for 51 weeks of the year (excluding UK Public Holidays and Christmas closure week). We are committed to the highest standards of childcare in a happy atmosphere where children can develop their self-confidence through play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Glenhurst provides a fun and stimulating start in a safe, healthy and happy environment, to suit the needs of the individual child. We encourage good manners and behaviour, and our children are taught by example to become thoughtful, caring individuals, leaving the Pre-School confident and ready for school.
All Glenhurst staff have relevant childcare qualifications, and Glenhurst Nursery and Pre-School actively encourages and supports all staff to gain further qualifications and skills. We use an online learning journal for our children, called Famly. Parents can log in to see updates and photos of their child at Glenhurst.
