Laura Ward and Annemarie Capper, who have combined expertise in the childcare industry of more than 20 years, are the owners of the family-run Manor Day 夜来香研究所. In January 2013, Laura, a seasoned professional, and Annemarie, a certified teacher, founded Buckshaw Bunnies Childminders. The mix of expertise and knowledge was a winning formula, and after a year of operation, each of them received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted, which is an impressive accomplishment for any first Ofsted inspection! Gelston Manor Day Nursery was established by Laura and Annemarie in September 2014 with the help of both of their partners, Neil and Simon. In a prime site next to Buckshaw Village, surrounded by greenbelt farmland, among three acres of woodland, and one of Chorley's finest period mansions, Gelston quickly became the nursery of choice for many parents and earned the moniker "Outdoor Nursery." On Railway Road in Adlington, the group renovated a former children's day nursery in 2020. With a truly magnificent nursery for the people of Adlington and the surrounding areas, Laura and Annemarie hope to build on their success in Gelston. Please can I take this opportunity to thank you all for your commitment, support, love and safety that has been given to Oscar since he joined just over 2 years ago.
