We aim to offer top-notch childcare in a secure and supportive atmosphere as an OFSTED Registered Playgroup.
Children who are not yet of school age should get high-quality care and instruction.
Work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop.
The provision for children's development and learning is guided by Early Years Foundation Stage EYFS (DfE 2012).
The framework addresses the upbringing and care of all young children, including those with special needs and impairments.
The Gants Hill Playgroup makes an effort to foster the kids' strong drive to learn, experiment, interact with others, and become independent.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is the curriculum we use, is intended to address 7 areas of learning.
The wide and varied range of activities we offer provides the children with not only a basic grounding in numbers and letters, but a wealth of learning experiences, allowing them to progress to their next stage of education with a sense of achievement and confidence.
All of our activities are designed to cover more than just one area of the curriculum at any one time and ensure that every child gets a chance to achieve in every area.
As a result of planning all activities around children's interests, we have discovered that kids are more motivated to engage in their education and reach their full potential.
Every child's self-esteem and independence are emphasised, and they are firmly urged to treat one another with kindness and compassion in a supportive setting.
Children collaborate and play with one another in a joyful, laid-back, and upbeat environment where there is a lot of encouragement and the surroundings are colourful, appealing, and adaptable.
Every child is given engaging, demanding, captivating, and fulfilling experiences that support their growth and evolution through the many pre-school stages.
The children are taught by dedicated, enthusiastic and well qualified staff in 2 spacious and well equipped church halls and an outdoor area.
