We'd like to greet you and give you a brief overview of First Steps. Our pre-schools are open during the school year, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and during these times we provide a range of sessions for kids ages 2 to 5. Every session is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which includes the Prime Areas of Personal, Social, and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, and Physical Development, as well as the Specific Areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design. This approach provides a stimulating and balanced curriculum that is meticulously planned and monitored to help all children reach their full potential. Both of our pre-school settings feature an outdoor space that is entirely enclosed, secure, and equipped with a variety of outdoor toys and equipment. Our pre-schools are well-equipped and offer a wide selection of activities. We accept kids up to the age of 10 throughout the summer months. These sessions are scheduled around the EYFS and organised according to a playscheme. A variety of activities are included, such as computers, an inflatable sports arena, arts and crafts, board games, and many others. After you reserve a spot, we'll set up up to two pre-visits. These pre-visits are free of charge, and you may leave your child in the room with us to check how they settle while you finish all the necessary paperwork. We will confirm which sessions are available and most suited for your kid based on the results of these visits.
