About Us
Fairfield Nursery is a Lancashire County Council maintained Nursery School providing high quality early years education for two, three and four year old children.
We have intakes in January, April and September so no child is waiting too long to begin this exciting journey.
We offer either five mornings or five afternoons for the free 15 hours Early Years Funding and a combination of both sessions for three and four year olds who are eligible for the Free 30 hour Funding.
Morning sessions are 8.40am to 11.40am
Afternoon sessions are 12.35pm to 3.35pm
Our aim is to provide an environment that promotes child development in line with the principals of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Our head teacher is a specialist in early years education and the staff are all highly skilled and qualified in their field. We promote a reflective practice where staff development is important and on going.
We actively promote outdoor play, with a wide range of equipment and activities and dedicated outdoors staff.
The nursery also encourages healthy eating by providing healthy snacks and drinks.
We believe in welcoming the family and not just the child and to this end we offer opportunities for parents to become involved in their children's learning and nursery life.
