According to our school's motto, "Aspire to Achieve," we have a strong ethos that is supported by our 3Rs of respect, responsibility, and relationships as well as a growth mindset culture. Our school promotes kindness, and we have high expectations for all of our children.
We are devoted to ensuring that all students enjoy realising their full potential, developing into lifelong learners, and making a meaningful contribution to society. We commonly use our three fundamental principles of Belief, Motivation, and Success in this endeavour.
We are a school on an exciting journey. In November 2019, Ofsted rated us as a very good school with two outstanding judgments for personal development and sixth form provision. Since then, we have maintained our unwavering spirit of striving to improve in every area by Embedding Greatness in our new School Improvement Plan (see SIP 2020 2023) and self-evaluating as a strong learning community on the verge of becoming a truly outstanding school in a generation. Your child will feel incredibly welcome, appreciated, and adequately challenged at Bushey Meads on all levels.
