From the Elm Grove Childcare Club
In 2001, we started the Elm Grove Childcare Club, which provides school-aged children with breakfast, after-school care, and summer camp. is staffed by a group of professionals with the necessary qualifications who focus on childcare and play work for primary school age children.
We established a breakfast and after-school club at Thomas A. Becket Infant School in April 2004 in response to the high demand for spots.
More recently, in September 2014, we opened a second breakfast and after-school club for students at St. Mary's Catholic Primary and Heene schools. This was quickly followed by the opening of a breakfast and after-school club at English Martyrs in November 2014. In recent years, we have continued to grow and diversify, opening a new after-school club, in 2011, with a real youth club vibe, for the older children at Thomas A Becket Junior School.
We were able to build the ideal childcare service, one that we are convinced would exceed your childcare demands, thanks to our mix of childcare expertise, experience, and background working in customer driven workplaces.
We are a playwork-based environment, giving every child a choice in what they do while they are with us.
The daily timetables are prominently posted in the environment every day, but we are flexible in our planning since our goal is for the kids to have non-stop FUN every day, therefore we could modify our schedules to accommodate their needs and imaginative play ideas.
Every employee has received the necessary training to operate in our "Out of School Club" settings.
