Miss Heidi Langhorn, a certified nursery nurse with over 20 years of experience dealing with children of different ages, created Early Bairds Children's Nursery in February 2013. The nursery opened a second location in Billington, Clitheroe, tucked away in the Ribble Valley, as part of its philosophy of continuous improvement in the care and educational facilities it offers, beginning in 2013. Early Bairds Nursery places a great importance on its employees. We understand that providing our practitioners with every opportunity to increase their knowledge and expertise in childcare and education through training and/or ongoing professional development is in the best interests of the kids. All of our professionals are highly skilled, genuinely love working with kids, and care much about your child's welfare and happiness. Early Bairds Nursery strives to provide children and their families with the best experience possible. This is made possible by our adult-to-child ratio, which, for example, enables our Billington branch to serve up to 60 kids. However, another crucial element is our "key person" approach, which guarantees individualised attention to the needs and development of each individual child and family. Our Great Harwood and Billington locations each provide a choice of sessions and are open from 7.30 a.m. to 18.30 p.m. on weekdays. We are open 51 weeks out of the year, with the exception of (chargeable) bank holidays and one week around Christmas.
