We provide progression for all of our children via first-rate pastoral care, enjoyable play, and exploration activities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage.
As the kids advance through the developmental phases, this guarantees their enjoyment and encourages discovery that will boost their abilities and confidence.
In order to help children develop independence and self-esteem in preparation for a confident transition to the next level of learning and the impending major school years, our team observes, examines, assesses, and offers carefully prepared, age-appropriate activities.
The curriculum is developed in accordance with the EYFS while carefully considering the requirements of each child.
Every month, we study a different topic and work with the kids to go through the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum with an emphasis on sensory activities.
With plenty of assistance from the staff team, our kids explore a variety of engaging activities, including building play, messy play, role play, and mark making.
We encourage our kids to become more independent in doing things like putting on their own shoes, getting dressed, and going potty.
We gather in a circle each morning to greet the instructors and one another. We have fun singing nursery rhymes and playing interactive activities.
We then support the key worker's suggested focal activity while offering a variety of fascinating ongoing activities.
We love doing all types of messy art and craft projects and have a variety of tiny and large constructions to help fine and gross motor skills.
As we learn the fundamentals of listening to and interpreting tales, stories and books are extremely important to us, and we like playing out our favourite ones.
Both in terms of how they take care of themselves and how they approach learning, our kids are urged to become more autonomous.
Activities are provided for them to strengthen and test their skills.
By focusing on the key and targeted areas through well designed activities and making sure that next steps are made for each child, we start to get the kids ready for the abilities they'll need when they join big school, following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Through early mark-making, dough activities, and water play, as well as starting to correctly form and write their names, we continually develop excellent fine motor abilities.
All kids are encouraged to dress themselves as much as possible and be able to select an activity on their own.
We promote independence by allowing visitors to register themselves upon arrival, hang up their own belongings, take care of their own jackets and shoes, and select their own activities.
Our goal is to promote children's self-management and learning independence.
We want the kids to be able to make decisions for themselves when they're old enough, and we'll encourage them to do so while they're in the nursery.
We encourage kids to help themselves as much as they can with self-dressing from the moment they come, starting with jackets and shoes, as well as selecting the resources they would want to explore.
