From the Digby Village Pre School
The long-running Digby Village Pre School re-registered in 2006 after moving to its current location. It is a recognised charity and a not-for-profit organisation (charity number 1032999). Operating out of Digby Church of England Primary School, it makes use of a classroom there and has access to all the school's resources, including the gym and outdoor play spaces. The Pre School's position inside the Primary School serves as an excellent first step in preparing kids for joining full-time school. Naturally, we have a close relationship with Digby C of E Primary School. The Pre School is overseen by a volunteer committee, but skilled child care specialists manage the facility's day-to-day operations. As a non-profit organisation, all fees and contributions are used to cover all ongoing operating expenses. Any additional revenue is immediately reinvested in the preschool to cover the cost of new toys and equipment. The Pre School operates in compliance with Ofsted guidelines and follows the principles of the Early Years Foundation. For children ages 2, 3, and 4, we have funded spots available in both the new extended (30-hour) programme and the universal (15-hour) option. Toilet training 鈥� We are fully aware that not all children enrolled in our programme will be completely potty trained. When parents decide to take the crucial step of toilet training, our staff will completely support them. Children in diapers are welcome in our Pre School.
