Daisy Chains first opened its doors in 1990 in a stunning detached structure with original details.
It is run and operated by Joanne Smith, who collaborates with her superb, hand-selected, and meticulously chosen nursery professionals to care for and educate kids during their most formative years.
The greatest way to define Daisy Chains as a place where kids and their families can feel loved, safe, and cherished is as a home away from home.
Despite taking on the role of director, Joanne is still the owner.
The nursery continues to be run by the same people and is housed in the same structure.
Our nursery's core conviction is that we are a family.
Until they are ready to leave us for school, it is crucial that our children and their families feel appreciated while they are at the nursery.
To help every child reach their full potential while they are with us, we continually upgrade our skill set in the nursery.
From the moment our little ones begin their journey with us until they are prepared to leave us for school in our loving, richly challenging, stimulating, and supportive environment, we are committed to fostering their growth and development.
As working parents, we are aware of how tough it may be to leave your kids in a childcare facility, but we want you to know that while they are in our care, we treat them as if they were our own.
Our team regularly participates in training as part of their ongoing professional development, which includes regular safeguarding training as well as updates to their knowledge of how children learn and develop.
Additionally, they have all had paediatric first aid training, and Millies Mark has been given to our nursery.
We value our families and work hard to continuously enhance our services, periodically asking for input.
We make an effort to celebrate all of our children's accomplishments and their family celebrations throughout the year because our families are very important to us.
We provide full-day, high-quality daycare for kids from six weeks to five years old.
Our nursery offers a comprehensive range of services, including food, diapers, and other basics like sunblock.
For all of our children to improve their skill development and nature exploration, we have both well-maintained outdoor grounds and spacious indoor facilities within our daycare.
At Daisy Chains, we continuously monitor children's development by comparing their beginning places to where they are now.
Three of our employees have further Elklan training in language and communication for children ages 0 to 5.
We have two communication champions in the nursery, a SenCo and a Nursery Teacher, who collaborate closely with outside organisations to make sure that procedures are in place for people who might require further guidance and support.
We will promote good relationships between parents/carers and the staff, respecting and valuing your view as the prime carer of your child, and involving you in all discussions about your child.
To keep you involved and informed of your child's progress, learning, and development, we will give you written material via specific Children's learning journals online.
