We are thrilled and incredibly proud to bring the Daisy Chain to you.
In 1999, Kayti completed her International Montessori Diploma with the intention of eventually starting our own childcare.
After having our two children, Sophie and Imogen, we finally located the ideal structure on Havant Road, and our dream began to materialise.
We established Daisy Chain at Westbourne, our pre-school, a year later.
We are overjoyed that Ofsted gave both of our childcare Outstanding ratings.
Our requirements for starting and operating a nursery have always been transparent.
We wish to create a joyful environment where kids may build their self-confidence and where they can playfully learn in a secure, welcoming, and caring setting.
The 1895 construction of the building has large rooms and lofty ceilings.
The design gives kids access to the garden for unstructured play as well as educational purposes, which is a key objective of the National Curriculum.
The conservatory serves as a fantastic connection between the main classroom and the garden and is open for water and dirty play, arts and crafts, and physical play.
All of the food is prepared on-site in our kitchen, and the staff and kids all share a meal in the conservatory.
For infants between the ages of three months and two years old, also referred to as Hedgehogs, we have two rooms upstairs that make up the Baby Unit.
The kids have their own sleeping quarters to ensure they can receive a good night's rest in a serene setting.
The Church Hall of Westbourne Parish Church is where you'll find The Daisy Chain at Westbourne.
The nursery provides care for kids between the ages of 2 and 5.
The kids can move around freely throughout the session because we have access to the hall garden.
We always urge the kids to spend time outside in the fresh air, no matter the weather.
The staff enjoys taking the kids on village walks, with a trip to visit the llamas being a favourite.
