Children between the ages of 2 and 5 can get early education at Cygnets, a privately run Pre-School Nursery.

There are five employees, four of whom have Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Childcare and Education qualifications, and one of them has a BA in honours (level 6).
We decorated the nursery, prepared crowns for our tea party for the teddy bears, and engaged in many enjoyable activities.
On St. Patrick's Day, the kids tried soda bread and coloured some images.
The kids learned the songs Spring Chicken and 5 Easter Eggs in a Sweet Shop for Easter.
We made nest cakes using cornflakes and melted chocolate and on the last day of term we had an Easter egg hunt in the garden.
The kids created chocolate chip cookies and a note for mothers day.

We viewed the film Bananas in Pyjamas. A short film about a Chinese family enjoying the new year together.
The kids created igloos using sugar cubes and fake snow as a follow-up to building one in the snow.
