Happiness and Settling: Children are incredibly happy and eagerly join in with activities. They show a positive attitude to their learning and are keen to explore the activities on offer.

On the grounds of Lakeside Primary Academy lies an Independent Pre-School called Clifton Moor Pre-School. We have a highly skilled and committed staff team that collaborates closely with the school's reception staff as well as other local locations. For more than 20 years, Clifton Moor Pre-School has provided kids with exceptional possibilities for learning and growth. Since 2011, Clifton Moor Pre-School has been rated as "Outstanding." Everyone who has supported us throughout the years deserves to be proud of this amazing accomplishment. At the bottom of the website, under the Ofsted logos, you can see copies of all of our inspection reports. The Clifton Moor Pre-School values its positive relationships with the parents and caregivers of the children enrolled there and welcomes families from all parts of York. For kids 2 years, 6 months to 5 years old, we run 10 sessions a week and provide part-day and full-day spots. Here at Clifton Moor Pre-School, the kids have access to a wide range of free-choice learning resources, including Creative Play, Messy Play, Role Play, Construction, and Small World. They also have access to our safe outdoor space, which they are free to explore at any time of the day. Feel free to visit us, learn about what we do, and get to know our employees.
