A brand-new outdoor nursery for preschoolers, Maple Kindergarten Forest School is a part of Clapton Park Children's Center (3-5 years old). Only during the academic year, Maple Kindergarten is held on Hackney Marshes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Children will participate in a variety of outdoor activities at Maple Kindergarten that will help them develop a knowledge of and appreciation for the woodland based on the Early Years Foundation Curriculum. Through observations, planning, and assessment, the outdoor nursery will promote kids' learning and development. Tapestry will be available to parents and caregivers so they can see what their kids have been up to and interested in during the day. The team will assist youngsters in getting ready for school by working with parents and other caregivers. Marshes in Hackney (hedgehog week - forest site stay) 9:00am 10am. 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Clapton Park Children's Center (Bee week-Trek week). Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday (term time ONLY) 9:00am 4:30pm. *** With the exception of strong winds and lightning, Maple Kindergarten will operate in all conditions. Every day, parents or caregivers are required to pack a lunch (please find attached guidelines on packed lunches). For families that want to rent a winter kit or a summer kit, Maple Kindergarten will offer a "beginning kit." A payment will be requested from you to pay for the necessary supplies for forest school. Please complete the application form below and submit it to us at [email protected] if you are interested in applying to our outdoor childcare at Clapton Park Children's Center. *** In addition, breakfast club is offered starting at 9 am for a fee of $1.50 per day per child. eight maximum.
